I wouldn't say that I'm particularly political, in fact when most conversation head in that direction, I tend to bow out. However, this is more than a political issue, its a moral one, a matter of life and death.

President Obama is set to legitamize abortion, even partial-birth abortion, by passing the "Freedom of Choice Act" (FOCA). He has set it as one of his first priorities. How sad that one of his first acts as President would be to allow the continued slaughter of innocent children. Did any of these precious souls ask to be conceived? And yet they are sacrificed on the altar of convenience, indifference or ignorance.

Please pray for our President. He claims to know Christ, but the Jesus I know would never sanction such an action for any reason. Please pray that God would move in President Obama's heart in any way necessary to prevent him from signing FOCA.

And please pray for all the women and men touched by abortion: those girls who saw no other way out, the young men who didn't have a say, the grandparents who never held their grandchild. We are a nation of walking wounded, ripped apart inside by grief and guilt. God, help America.
